The person behind The Digital Dietitian

Hi, I’m Aleks

I’m the dietitian behind The Digital Dietitian. If you’re curious about the person you might be speaking to, here’s a little about me.

I’m originally from Poland and moved to the UK, where I spent ten years living in London. These days, home is a village by the coast with my husband and our two cats, Lilo and Chibi. I’m embracing a slower pace of life.

Starting The Digital Dietitian was a personal choice as well as a professional one. I wanted more freedom with my time and more say in how work fitted into my life. Having my own business was part of making that possible.

My work has taken me through the NHS and private practice. Now, I work with adults with IBS, including people who find that following advice is much harder than understanding it.

In our conversations

What it’s like
to work with me

I’ll want to hear what’s been happening, what you’ve already tried and what you’re hoping will change. You don’t have to arrive with a perfectly completed food diary or have followed every piece of advice you’ve been given.

If something hasn’t worked, or you couldn’t fit it into your day, tell me. That’s useful information. We can talk about what got in the way and find a more manageable next step.

I’ll explain why I’m suggesting something, how we’ll check whether it’s helping and what we might do next. And you can ask questions, including the ones you’ve felt awkward asking before.

A slower pace

Away from work

I love being at home and spending time with Lilo and Chibi.
